Candlelight is a special event series from FeverUp.com and I’m thrilled to be their concert photographer in San Diego. Here’s how they described this tribute to El Divo de Juárez, Juan Gabriel…
“Enjoy some of the best songs from Juan Gabriel surrounded by the gentle glow of candlelight. Get lost in the sounds of the talented Adelaide Band as they bring sounds of Mexico to San Diego. With this concert’s sublime performance and stunning atmosphere, sit back and get taken into the clouds.”
Singer Adelaide Pilar and her band of seasoned professionals stoked the crowd to their feet and got the whole place singing and dancing, before chants of “otra! otra!” prompted three encores. This was hands down the most lively concert event in the series so far. And this is probably the first time I’ve ever seen a singer pick up a trumpet and absolutely wail!
